Lizards Card

What you need:
- Lizard brass stencil
- 210x100mm deckle edge white folded card
- Black Dreamweaver stencil embossing paste
- Palette knife
- Non stick sheet or grease proof paper
- Versamark ink pad
- Pearlescent pigments (blue, light blue, torquoise)
- 'Happy Birthday' peel off in black
What to do:
- Take the non stick plastic or grease proof sheet and place it on your work surface making sure the smooth side is facing up. Use a little masking tape to fix the stencil to the sheet.
- Spread the embossing paste into the stencil using the palette knife, making sure you fill all the gaps of the stencil to the surface. Remove any excess paste by scraping the knife across the surface of the stencil. Don't worry if the paste inside the stencil isn't perfectly smooth, the rough texture adds to the effect.
- Carefully remove the stencil and repeat for another two lizards then leave them to dry (approx. 15-30mins).
- Once the lizards are dry wipe the versamark pad over the surface of each lizzard. While the ink is still sticky use a soft brush to colour parts of the lizard with the pearlescent powders.
- Gently peel the designs off of the sheet and position them on the front of the base card. Use a little PVA glue or double sided tape to fix the lizards in place then trim any bits that are hanging over the edge of the card.
- Finally peel off the happy birthday sticker and place in the lower corner of the card.
